Happy New Year Mudders! This is Sophi, I’ll be your tour guide for today. We’ll be visiting some of the newest features and changes that have gone in this month.

But before we get started, I want to extend an invitation to faction leaders who would like to see faction information in this. Promotions, demotions, politics, quests, etc. If you want it in, send me a mudmail by the 10th of each month.

Now to the good stuff.

Skills:

1. There’s a new merc skill in called Suppressing Fire for level 59 mercenaries. Check the help file out in-game for more info. (Marky)

3. Utility Belt updated with new items; different containers for officer and shock trooper. (Marky)

4. Secondary weapons, when misfired, will no longer be destroyed. They will just loose all their ammo. (Marky)

5. Advance position and group advance skills now receive a bonus to damage when surveying before using. (Marky)

6. Shock troopers get a bonus to using the ‘suppressing fire’ skill. (Marky)

7. ‘Planetary Gift’ skill now works or now give new items in at least 8 more zones. (Omicron)

8. ‘Blaze Trail’ corrected so it will not always fail. (Raist)

9. ‘Healing Aura’ fixed to affect group members and show the reuse timer in score. (Raistlin)

 

Other Things:

1. There is now a taxi service in Mos Eisley. Try it out! (Wyld)

2. Loria has been hooked up so you can access the rest of the zone. (Sophi)

3. As usual, Raven has fixed a bunch of typos. (Raven)

4. Did a walk-through of Dantooine and Kohlma fixing typos. Should be clean, so feel free to report anything I missed in there. (Sophi)

5. Yavin’s jump now has some changes. You can no longer attempt to enter the space battle by walking east, nor will down bring you into the death star. You must enter or approach, respectively. (Wyld)

6. And to promote players to group, we now give exp bonuses to all group kills. (not counting pets) The larger the group, the more the exp bonus. (Raistlin)
