They have become adept at cordoning off areas so as to keep people out during such an investigation. Victims affected by force binding will find it difficult to move and will miss the opportunity for a number of their attacks. This force power requires constant attention which will drain a Sentinels focus every round until the target or sentinel leave the room; or until one of the two are killed. While force bind is in effect no other Jedi focus powers may be used, though normal combat can occur as usual. Medical researchers have found that Buprenophex can suppress a body's craving for chemical stimulants without aggravating the addiction. Buprenophex is so important to patient recovery, that without it patients would have to spend the rest of their lives receiving regular injections to avoid detrimental side effects. This drive leads a young medic to the substance Carsunum, which is known for improving the mental processes -- especially memory -- in its users. This boost to the memory means that user of Carsunum will retain more information and knowledge from everything they experience. However, there is a drawback to using this mental stimulant, it is very addictive. To stave off the effects of starvation trusted medics carry supplies of Phendimetrazine to boost their ration supply. Other uses include high-society trend followers who want to stay thin in spite of banquets and parties. A word of caution is warranted, as like other chemicals, use of Phendimetrazine can be habit-forming. See Also: Medic Inject Refill ~ #885 All across the galaxy, spice and spice users can be found. Whether the user is a social user, looking to gain an edge in political maneuvering and debates, or a habitual user trying to keep an edge in combat, or even a complete addict, they are everywhere. Medics can intercede on their behalf and prevent the spice user from suffering withdrawal from spice use (or abuse) by injecting them with Klonepin. While it doesn't make the user immortal or invulnerable, it does greatly enhance their ability to soak damage and suffer abuse. Medics can inject themselves, their allies, or a paying customer with this, making it a much sought after chemical stimulant. Like all other combat drugs in the medic's kit bag, Pyrepenol causes addiction. Sometimes it is necessary to administer an emergency solution to bring someone back to sobriety. With the application of Sinthenol, someone who was falling down drunk can once again have complete control of their facilities. This good news is further compounded by the non-addictive quality of Sinthenol. An alcoholic isn't substituting chemical dependencies. With several wars in close succession, medical professionals have been adding this to their deployment kit bags in order to get warriors back into the action as fast as possible. It is also sought after in more clandestine circles, where operators and security professionals are harder to replace. Like other chemicals, Regen-Stim is addictive. Organizations and individuals who rely on stealth and subterfuge more than brute force find supplies of Nyex invaluable, and many a mark has been laid low by the bounty hunter cunning enough to knock them out with a dose of Nyex. It has also helped gentler beings subdue would-be attackers, allowing them to not violate their philosophies without becoming a victim. Note: use of Nyex to put a player to sleep is considered a PK attempt. If you put a player to sleep using Nyex and leave them asleep, you could find yourself subject to punishment under the jerk clause. See Also: Medic Inject Refill ~
