As an added incentive to explore the overwhelmingly large world of
Revenge of the Jedi, mobiles in the game have what is called
'survivor experience'. The longer mobiles sit around without
anyone killing them, the more experience racks up on their claim.
This is to say that if you explore and learn new zones, you
will begin to find areas that not everyone knows about. Areas that
not everyone frequents. These places will be more rewarding for
those who were bold enough to go find them in the first place.
This applies to both land-based and space-based mobiles. Some
mobiles that normally give you 10,000 experience per kill after
a few days of uptime when nobody kills them may yield as much as
500,000 experience points or more, per kill! The higher the
uptime of the MUD, the greater survivor experience you will
find in those remote areas of the mud which few know exist.
Exploring new areas gives the imagination a new story to read,
and gives the mudder a new place to go for experience points!

Usage: uptime
Uptime is the duration of real clock time that the MUD server process
has been 'up' or running. If the process crashes or is rebooted then
the uptime resets to zero days, zero hours, zero minutes.
With larger uptime comes greater potential for large rewards in the
form of survivor experience to those who explore new areas in the
MUD's ever expanding world of rooms, mobiles, and objects.
