#660 Are you a mook? Do you think you're good enough to mook with the best mooks of all time? If you're mooky enough, then you, too, can join the mookiest of mooks in the... Mook Hall of Fame ------------- Lobo Foosha Balyn Hotoke Jeggar Boar Muris Oni Zeebo Slavik Jardon Rizla Fomon Mamondo Zadin This file will be updated as mookiness, mook levels, mookishness, and mookosity tend to be highly unstable factors which often fluctuate unpredictably... Some of the factors currently used to determine mook rating: - Hitting an obscene number of death traps - High level players who don't know anything about the game - High level players dying to easy mobs or lowbie pkillers - Making more stupid comments and bad jokes on comlink than other morts - Spamming the idea file with stupid stuff like 'Jedi should get Destruction' - Cheating or breaking the rules and trying to lie about it or cover it up - Doing something so utterly stupid and ridiculous, it just HAS to be logged - Getting your group members killed frequently, often in stupid ways - Dying to the same mob three or more times in a row in one play session - Massive subberdeath of containers and rare random eq - Making personals with terrible stats just so you can try to look good - Giving wrong answers to questions - Getting stuck in stupid situations like being locked in a !magic, !com room with no summoners on - Exploring the Mandalorian Palace with no bus passes or recall spell - Deleting your main account when you were suppose to delete your JrPk account ~ #661 Politician level 1 Usage: Automatic when RP is turned on Know (command to see online politicians) Polnet Political know is a politicians ability to monitor current legislative topics (what is currently under vote), and also their ability to see what other politicians are participating. It is purely informational and not a practicable skill. Politicians have their own discussion channel called Polnet. It can only be used when your RP is turned on. See Also: Politician ~ #662 Politician Level 10 Usage: vote At level 10 a politician moves from being merely an observer in legislation, to taking an active part in it's passage. On a scheduled basis (once per mud day), an item will come up for vote. As long as you have RP on, you will be made aware of this, and can vote yay or nay on topic. There is a window of 2 mud hours (2 ticks) in which to vote. If you forget the topic up for vote, just type vote without an argument to see whats currently up. At the end of of the voting period, the results will be reported and acted upon. Some of the current voting topics are as follows, Levy Taxes - Taxes the non-politician players and gives you the proceeds. *note* A large portion of collected taxes will go to the faction that is currently winning the Galactic War. Faction Support - Support either Rebel or Imperial galactic faction rating. Garrison - Options to add/remove Imperial garrisons on several worlds. Trade Routes - Create trade routes between systems, adding new mobs. Crime Laws - If PK ratings are live, this can adjust someone's PK rating. Research - Promote research, adding random items into the game. Obviously, we can have alot of fun with this, and will add/adjust voting topics at anytime. This ship has no real combat capabilities, and is just a way to get around. This skill operates on a one minute timer. See Also: Politician ~ #664 A state-of-the art ship armor system developed by Professor Qwi Xux at the top-secret Imperial Maw Installation, Quantum Armor uses advanced fluid dynamic technologies which allow the metal of your ship's hull to selectively harden and deform as needed, thus absorbing much of the damage of a laser beam or projectile attack. Quantum Armor is extremely expensive and time consuming to manage, and due to the fact that it is extremely power-intensive, it is currently available only on small ships and fighters. Quantum Armor, while providing an additional layer of protection, is not going to save you if your Shield Generator is destroyed and you pick a fight with the Executor. Nor is it much use if you choose to fly your SunCrusher directly into the sun of Carida ...ask Kyp. Quantum Armor upgrades can only be obtained via Questing. Other than that, your only chance of scoring this neat enhancement is to find a ship that already has the upgrade performed. They create gravity interdiction fields using powerful miniature black holes. As any competent pilot knows, a ship must be free of gravity's pull before it can safely jump into hyperspace. See Also: Ship systems Piloting ~ #666 Scoundrel Level 66 Usage: beguile Scoundrels are worried about looking out for just one person: Themselves. With beguile, a Scoundrel can convince a member of his or her group to step forward and take attacks meant for the Scoundrel. This hurts, obviously, so the beguiled victim will only intercept a percentage of attacks based on the Scoundrel's charisma. Only players in your group can be beguiled, those outside your group are not around long enough for you manipulate...er befriend, and NPC followers are too simple minded to react quickly enough to intercept an attack. 'But they're gonna kill her!' 'Better her than me.' -- Han Solo, Scoundrel ~ #667 Hull Wrecks can be rebuilt into ships by master Technicians such as Auran.
