#50 Explorer Level 25 Usage: automatic Explorers at this level have trained their senses and intuition to detect hidden doors and passages where others would walk right by. See Also: Explorer Autoexit Exit ~ #51 Inventor Level 100 Usage: disintegrate Throughout the galaxy, one of the most feared forms of death is disintegration. Few have ever seen it done, and some doubt that physics would even allow it. The greatest of Inventors know otherwise. Inventors with this skill have created a disintegration device. It can be used to target objects and people. Very powerful, it's only flaw is all disintegration devices are unstable. This means it must be powered slowly over time or risk disintegration of the Inventor! The disintegrator will charge up over a period of 1-2 minutes, after which it is armed and available to fire. Disintegrate will not always disintegrate its target, and in some cases will instead cause a great deal of damage as pieces of the target simply atomize. This will cause a great deal of damage and other severe, if random side effects. When a victim is disintegrated all equipment will be left behind without a corpse. Note that the victim does not even suffer the normal effects of subber death and ALL equipment will remain. Note - In order to disintegrate in space you must have a special ship system installed in your spaceship. With this skill a character can dodge some or all attacks directed at him thus avoiding damage. It is easier to dodge attacks of lower level characters compared to higher level characters. See Also: Swindler ~ #53 Scoundrel Level 90 Usage: Automatic A Scoundrel with this skill has perfected the art of backstabbing, and has reached the point where they are so quick and deadly that they are able to strike someone twice, once with both weapons, before they can even begin to defend themselves. See Also: Scoundrel Backstab ~ #54 Gunslinger Level 3 Bounty Hunter Level 3 Usage: Draw In the middle of combat it can be difficult to draw a new weapon or wield one if you find yourself unarmed. The time it takes to draw this weapon can be the difference between life and death. Bounty Hunters have become highly skilled at changing out weapons. With the Draw skill, a bounty hunter can wield a weapon in combat without suffering any of the normal lag penalties and can even swap the drawn weapon with one he/she is currently wielding in the same way. See Also: Gunslinger Bounty hunter ~ #55 Pilot Level 16 Usage: drawfire A skilled pilot can attempt to draw fire away from an ally in need. This is done by flying your own ship between your ally and his attacker in hopes that the attacker will target your ship instead. Such expert piloting will leave you unable to do anything other than concentrate on your flying for 1 round of combat. A point to be made, in space combat, larger vessels draw more attention than smaller ships. So in general, larger ships will be attacked more when fighting as part of a group. See Also: Piloting ~ #56 When old age sets upon one, some begin to envy the droids. Droids are immortal when upkept and well built. They can be greater than any carbon based lifeform. Thus some great minds find a way to transfer themselves into a droid's body. Becoming immortal to the ages of time. The Droid has abilities unique to nearly all. Its abilities provide it with great powers for combat and defense. These combined with its superior intelligence can form a very powerful character. A droid begins to recover focus at twice the rate of a carbon based lifeform, nor does it require any food or water. However, due to their mechanical nature, droids cannot use biological enhancements such as spice. Droids, no longer being organic, do not regenerate hitpoints. Instead they must repair themselves to fix any battle injuries. Droids are immune to some spells (such as blind), take reduced damage from spells such as choke, but take more damage from electric spells such as Force Lightning.
