An item or being using the web ability will use a spider like web substance
to prevent the target from fleeing or retreating for a period of time during
combat.

MultiClass System Changes:
You start the game without a class and seek out the guildmaster of your
choice and type 'join' to join that class. The first class you choose
must be a primary class. Your Second and Third class can only be a
non-primary Lesser Class. (See also: MULTICLASS for more info)
New Object Enhancements:
We did some major work on our object files, giving us much greater
flexibility. As a result, you see more interesting items and a big
enhancement to weapon modification skills/spells.
Galactic Monetary System
There is now a finite amount of money in the galaxy. As credits become
scarce, cash drops will decrease and costs will increase until the mud hits
a balanced stasis point. With luck, this will help keep inflation under
control.
Hitpoint/Mana Gains
Your hitpoint and focus gains are now only dependent on your race,
class and size. Constitution & Intelligence have no effect on gains.
Constitution Update
Constitution now has a direct effect in combat, the higher your
constitution, the less damage you take. Low constitutions may actually
increase damage taken to a lesser degree. Con still also affects hp regen.
Mana Costs
Mana costs for spells will now reduce depending on your intelligence and
wisdom, not your level. Different spells have different intelligence
thresholds for reduced focus costs.
Racial Bonuses and Stats
Races will now play a much larger roll in the game. Your race will affect
your hp and focus gains as well as the maximum natural stat (before eq) for
your character. For example, Gamorreans can only train intelligence and
wisdom to 125 but have the highest constitution limit of any race. Each
race now has their own help listing which details the relative abilities in
each stat.
New character attribute called luck:
Luck improves your chances of scoring a lucky hit and reduces the chance
your enemy will get one on you. (See Also: GAMBLE)
Mercs primary combat changed to Blaster:
All classes are equally mediocre with hand to hand as a backup. Merc primary
weapon is now blaster.
Penalty reduces as prof increases
The penalty for using the WRONG prof decreases as you approach 100. So if
you REALLY want to use a certain weapon type there will be no penalty if
you train it to level 100. At mid to lower levels the penalty can be quite
substantial so this is only recommended for high levels.
Improved faction ownership
Zones can now better respond to which faction controls them, causing different
mobs to load for example.
Revamped Spaceships
Special system and space combat reworked and improved.
Pilot Subguilds
Created four pilot subguilds. Skills are still in the works.
Space Experience
In space you earn space experience, on land you earn land experience. Gain
land levels and train stats with your land experience at your guildmaster.
Gain pilot levels and train stats with your space exp at pilot guild.
Experience Adjustment
We have reduced combat experience and boosted end experience. This should
approximately wash out but put more xp emphasis on the kill than just the
battle.
Charmies in space and transports.
Charmies can no longer follow you into space, but you can transport them on
your ship. (See: HELP TRANSPORT)
Droids Changed a Bit
Droids have been made to act more like Droids should. Examples: Droids
don't regen hitpoints, they must be repaired. Droids can't be healed by
Jedi. Droids are immune to poison and leech life. Read HELP DROID for
details.
Drunk Bonus/Penalty
Being a little or a lot drunk will improve your regen rate. Sit back and
have a drink with your friends while you regen. On the down side, fighting
while still a little drunk will reduce your effective quickness. Fighting
while still a lot drunk will cause you to stumble and miss. So sober up
before fighting.
Random EQ
Random Eq changed to load less junk. You should see fewer mobs with random
eq but those that do load it will have a much higher chance of loading eq
with affections.
Techs have droid repair skills
Techs have been given skills to repair droids, comparable to a Jedi's cures
and heals on living beings.
Reworked skill lists on primary classes
Moved some of the skills around to space them out better and created some
new skills Hunter and Smuggler classes.

You no longer select your class when you create your character. Seek out
the guildmaster of your choice and type 'join' to join that class. The
First class you join becomes your primary class.
Your primary class has the following attributes:
-Your primary class must be one of the classes listed in HELP CLASS
-Determines which subguilds you may join when you reach level 60.
-Has a huge effect on hitpoint and focus gains.
-You may gain up to level 60 in your primary class and up to level
100 in one of it's subclasses.
-Your primary class triggers the !Class eq flags.
For example, only those with primary class Jedi are restricted
from using !JEDI equipment
-Your primary class also trigger alignment bonuses.
It will cost less for a good-aligned Jedi to cast spells.
It will not cost less for a good-aligned Merc to cast spells.
Your secondary class has the following attributes.
-Your secondary class must be listed in HELP LESSER CLASSES
-It has no effect on hitpoints and focus gains.
-You may gain up to level 40 in your secondary class.
-It costs more experience to gain than your primary class.
Your tertiary class has the following attributes.
-Your tertiary class must be listed in HELP LESSER CLASSES
-It has no effect on hitpoints and focus gains.
-You may gain up to level 20 in your tertiary class.
-It costs more experience to gain than your secondary class.

'You are zapped and drop the - . . . .'
This unfortunate situation occurs when an item a player has can no
longer be used by that player. The most common example is an
Alignment shift (eg, from Good to Neutral, etc.) which precludes use
of that item. Any item which can only be used by the former
alignment will ZAP the player and drop to the ground. You will take
some damage and there is a chance that the item will be caught.
If you are zapped while in hyperspace, items should go to
inventory instead of being destroyed on the 'ground' of
light speed travel. (This safeguard added Feb 18, 2008)

Raistlin is the coolest Master in the game. If you get the privilege
to see him (let alone speak with him), you're bound to have incredible
luck for the rest of the day.
Of course, a god likes to brag. Here are some of his works.
Zones: Jundland Wastes, Black Rock, Mos Eisley Newbie zones, Rebel Safehouse,
Jabba's Townhouse, Jabba's Palace, Tatooine Desert (with Thor), Kessel
Death Star (with thor), Mos Eisley Sewers, Bespin, Kallistas, Sumitra
Jawa Sandcrawler, Uncle Owens Farm, Mandalore, Anchorhead, Minos Cluster
Graveyard of Alderaan, Hoth, Demophon, Dagobah, Endor (Space), Coruscant
Coruscant Genetic Facility (Serpentorium, Cube), Imperial Palace,
Kashyyyk, Naboo (City, Palace, Planet Core), House of Frankenstein,
Geonosis, Death Star Surface, Kamino, Outpost Battlegrounds.
Code: Everything no one else did. Favorites include space combat system,
autoquests, lesser classes, a ton of main class skills/spells,
non-tick regen, faction based zone loads...10+ years is a long time.

One of the 4 founding Masters. Thrawn enjoys changing the mud program
itself but does not enjoy creating zones or personal items.
Zones credited to Thrawn:
-Absolutely NONE
Code implementations credited to Thrawn:
-Multi-wield
-Multiple attacks
-Sub guilds
-Multiclass system
-Weapon Proficiencies
-Animate dead
-Anti-sanct
-Assorted spells, skills, tweaks, fixes and improvements
Many of Thrawn's best ideas but none of the code was stolen from
Death's Domain. Death's Domain is the MUD alma mater of Thrawn, Thor,
Exar, Raistlin, Omicron, Tox and Obie.

Thank you for helping Strider. $100 dollars has been deducted from your
bank account and deposited into Strider's bank account. Any further help
is also appreciated.

Thor is the silliest Master in the game. If you get the privilege to
roleplay with him, be prepared to fight off the entire Imperial Army
and go on vast tours with him. He loves Star Wars quotes especially if
they apply to a situation and are well used. He almost always will take
the time to get to know you if you feel the urge to speak to him.
