Slicers are experts at hacking into and using computer systems and
electronic devices. There's no lock, no computer system, no droid
a Slicer cannot hack and use to his own purposes.
Slicers are available as a Tertiary Class only, and so only can be
trained up to level twenty.
Skills available to Slicers:

Smugglers are known to have very special qualities that no other class
offers. They have a reputation unmatched by any other class, not that
many would want it. Most can be found in the cantinas and back alleys
of most planet systems. Their specialties are on the darker side of life,
whether it is smuggling, thieving or assassination. Many of these
qualities can come in handy in many situations, such as picking locks,
stealing, or backstabbing.
Smugglers may, in time, have in their possession (legally?), several
vibroblade parts, which they may use to construct a lethal Personal
Vibroblade.

Fighter Pilot Level 60
Usage: snapshot
One of the skills of a fighter pilot, a snapshot is a brief
half-second shot available in the fluidity of a space dogfight.
It takes the fast thinking steady skills of a fighter pilot
to get this shot off and have any chance of hitting a target.
Obviously, snapshot will cause some damage to any spacecraft hit.

Bounty Hunter Level 14
Usage: snare
Bounty Hunters excel at cornering their victims and preventing them
from escaping. The snare skill allows the Bounty Hunter to cut off
a fleeing enemy's escape route, keeping him or her in the room. A
victim with a bladed weapon or lightsaber can attempt to SLICE
themselves free. A victim skilled and wearing bladed wrist weapons
or with a bayonet affixed to his weapon can also SLICE free. Trying
to retreat out of a snare will require considerable strength.
Note: This skill requires a grappling hook to be installed as an armor system

Smuggler Level 4
Bounty Hunter Level 10
Usage: sneak
Used for sneaking (moving in and out of rooms without anyone
taking notice). When you type sneak, there is no way to know if
you're actually sneaking. If you successfully sneak, then you'll
continue to sneak for a little while. If you are already sneaking
you will stop sneaking.

Assassin Level 70
Usage: target
The sniper skill is one reserved for the more notorious of the Bounty
Hunters. With this skill, the Hunter becomes an even more silent,
and deadly adversary. The motto of the sniper, 'One shot, one kill'
becomes reality when equipped with the specially designed sniper
rifle. A weapon of this type is required to use this powerful skill.
Also, upon being fired upon, certain mob targets may take cover to
prevent injury from sniper fire. Note too, that a round fired in this
mode will cause greater damage than is inflicted otherwise.
To use this skill an Assassin must acquire a Sniper Rifle, which
should be recognized by the name or when the weapon is scanned.
Sniper weapons must be loaded with cartridges using the
loadcartridge command, and cartridges may be ejected from the rifle
with the ejectcartridge command.

Ships are needed to travel from planet to planet via hyperspace, unless
you can find transport by some other method. To travel through hyperspace
you need to find the coordinates to a planetary system or point in the
galaxy and jump there using the Jump Command. The speed of your jump
depends on the speed of your ships Hyperdrive. This will often place
you in orbit, and you will need to use the land command to actually
land on the planet.
Example: Jump 692 - Would put you in orbit around Tatooine
Example: Land - Would take you to the surface
In space combat, there are many details that can lead to your victory
or defeat. Every ship has its own weapons system, some do more damage
than others. For protection, ships have varying levels of armor to
protect their hull, and a combat speed, signifying how fast the ship is
in a fight. (faster you fly, harder it is to hit)
When you take damage, your Shield Integrity will lower. When your shields
fall your Hull begins to take damage. Should your Hull Integrity hit 0%
the ship will blow up. Shields repair themselves slowly over time (as
long as the ship is in the piloted position on your eq list), but hull damage
requires active repair (see REPAIR HULL). If your shield generator is
destroyed, your shields will not regenerate until it is repaired.

Politician Level 30
Usage: speech
With the speech skill, a politician takes a moment to give a political
speech to those around him or her. Speeches of this nature attract
attention, and wandering mobiles from nearby rooms will often come
to your room to listen. Be warned, however, if they don't like you
(i.e. are aggressive towards you), they may still attack no matter how
good your speech is.
This skill operates on a 60 second timer and is affected by character
level and charisma.

Landspeeder Items
Usage: ride
Speeders come in a variety of forms: You have your basic landspeeder, the
sort used by the Jawas to fly around Tatooine in, and its more advanced
variants like Luke Skywalker pilots in Mos Eisley. Of course, there are also
Race Pods and Swoops... In game terms, speeders let you travel without losing
movement points. Being technological in nature, they are not 100% reliable.
Even the best-made speeder will occasionally break down. To hop into a
speeder, use the command RIDE. When you get ready to walk again, use REMOVE to
get out of your speeder.
Note: Landspeeders are useless in space!
Also, their repulsorlift drives are ineffective on certain types of terrain.
(Water, for example)

Usage: consume
Spice, like all drugs (medicinal or illegal), can produce short-term
benefits or long-term detriments. It can enhance one's speed or
toughness. It can also cause ADDICTION.
The disadvantages of addiction outweigh any short-term benefits the
spice can produce. A player in withdrawal (not under the influence of
spice) will begin to suffer penalties on regeneration and other
similar game effects. The addiction can be broken by enrolling in an
acceptable drug treatment facility. This also involves paying the
requisite treatment fee, of course.
