A lucky shot could be such events as accidentally striking the gap in someone's armor, just happing to strike a shield at the exact moment the generator adjusts phase or missing one opponent and hitting another not expecting attack. Lucky shots deal double damage. Lucky shots happen to everyone. This differs from the commando skill critical hit which are done with intention and for more damage. Your total pool of focus represents the full potential of your mind. Your current amount of focus represents your current state of mental focus. As you perform actions that require focus your mind will tire represented by the loss of focus points. Sitting, resting, sleeping and meditating are all good ways to rest your mind and return your focus to full potential.
